MIrage

MIROIR YELLOW 38mm

The Mirage is the first shaped watch to draw its asymmetry from its calibre, rather than from an external free shape. Drawn to let the mechanics go freely (large barrel, direct small second & pocket watch style balance wheel), the movement escapes from the circle to then offer a combination of finesse and very advanced performance. Its total absence of symmetry creates a harmony that is both imperfect and deliberate. The "Miroir" designation comes from the new approach we chose for the creation of our fourth movement, the Caliber 283.

An unparalleled blend of art
and technic.

Unlike traditional skeletonization or reversal, we opted for a more complex path by creating an entirely new mirrored movement, echoing the original technical construction of the Caliber 233. The sector guilloché pattern on the movement serves as a marker for reading the hours, much like a classic dial. Lacking a seconds counter to maximize the openwork design, the seconds wheel will act as a running indicator through its own rotation.

CALIBRE 283

Technical excellence is for us inseparable of our search for character and uniqueness. Our calibre 283 aims to capture the best of both worlds, thus blending art and technique in an unparalleled way.
The technical layout breaks free from the traditional circle, to carry a larger barrel, enhancing power reserve. We developed a specific complication: the handset is reversed, enabling a slimmer case profile. The movement structure, made out of 18k solid gold, is also as thin as possible (2,80mm thick).

CASING

Despite its remarkably slim 7mm profile, the Mirage Miroir stands out thanks to the visual depth conferred by its openwork Caliber 283. This architecture offers the best of both worlds, with the subtleties and details of a complex movement, but within the ergonomics of a dress watch. Effortless, even slightly irreverent elegance.
Unlike an apologetic circle, asymmetry brings character and uniqueness, allowing the piece to be noticed while remaining compact on the wrist.
